Mr. Jamal Omar Hinkson is an associate attorney at Lauriston Law Firm, who handles Immigration Law, Family Law, and Probate and Estate Administration Law.
In 2010 Mr. Hinkson graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s of Science in Legal Studies. In 2013 he earned his J.D. (Juris Doctorate) from Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University where he became the recipient of the Book Award in Insurance Law. He served as member of the Black Law Student Association (BLSA) and Caribbean Law Student Association (CLSA). Mr. Hinkson is admitted to the Florida Bar.
In 2014, after admission to the Florida Bar, Mr. Hinkson immediately represented numerous clients in a wide range of matters including immigration family-based petitions, immigration orphan petitions, applications for permanent residence, naturalization applications, dissolution of marriage proceedings, shareholder civil matters, landlord-tenant evictions, guardianships and estate administration proceedings.
Mr. Hinkson has an insatiable passion to represent the less fortunate in all areas of the law.
Mr. Hinkson is a member of the Caribbean Bar Association and serves as Treasurer for the Bajan Young Achievers, an organization to promote the positive impact of youth in the communities.
